We commemorate the reformation in its 500th anniversary by affirming sola Scriptura, sola gratia, sola fide, solus Christus, soli Deo gloria. The reformation was only necessary and the first four Sola’s are only valid when they arrive at the ultimate sola. For our relationship with God attained by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, as made known to us by the Word of God alone falls short if it is not all accorded to the Glory of God alone....
A couple of months ago during our members meeting we passed our church membership role. The importance of a church membership role is let the whole membership know who they are responsible for as members. One the greatest responsibilities that we have for one another is to pray for one another and to pray for each others greatest of needs. The Bible instucts us in how to do this and what to pray for. If you have taken a few moments to think back on the year there were some certain notable tragedies and gut wrenching events that took place; including the loss of many notable celebrities. Maybe you have experienced a loss of your own whether it was a family member, dear friend, loss of health, or even your job. Each year as they pass by faster and faster it seems the world is getting worse and worse. It is also easier and easier to be negative and experts of the negative especially in others....

In the month of October 2017 we commemorate the reformation in its 500th anniversary.
